A sports-mad Canterbury family are enjoying a house that meets all of their goals, thanks to the speedy, skilled team at Signature Homes.

Christchurch locals Mike and Marianne wanted a family home that felt like they were on holiday every day. The couple wanted the opportunity to Design and Build their home from scratch, and found the perfect section in the Marshland area of Christchurch.

Signature Homes worked with Mike and Marianne to create the immaculate Karere build – a standout family home with all of life’s luxuries. The home fit the couple’s brief perfectly, from the timber floors and designer kitchen to the significant focus on outdoor living and open-plan spaces.

Marianne and Mike describe the Signature Homes North Christchurch team as great listeners. “They were patient, had great ideas, and helped us make good decisions around cost-saving design features”, says Mike.

The striking exterior façade was achieved using Abodo's premium weatherboard timber product and Rockcote Integra cladding systems. While large windows and multiple skylights were incorporated to create a gorgeous light-filled home.

Inside the home, you'll find four spacious bedrooms, two well-appointed bathrooms, a designer kitchen with large scullery, two living spaces, and a gym.

The exterior colour palette is carried through the interior of the home through calm light-wood flooring, and dramatic black accents that add a touch of luxury to the home. The wooden floors are continue through to the bold stairwell, where a feature light fixture and a dark distressed wood feature wall come together, adding a stunning contrast to the space.

"We love our Signature Home", says Mike and Marianne. "We intend to stay in it for a long

time."
