The Health Act Order was signed off at 11.47pm last night and then final confirmation was provided from the Government this morning at 8.45am. We now have confirmed guidelines for operating at Level 2 as we move into Alert Level 2 today. REINZ is pleased to share the approved guidelines for the real estate profession. REINZ has worked with Ministers, the industry, MBIE and the REA on these guidelines to ensure they meet the requirements the industry will need to operate under Level 2.
Level 2 signifies a step towards a more normal working environment; however, it is about playing it safe. Physical distancing remains paramount and contact tracing is essential. In order to operate at Alert Level 2, all real estate and property management agencies must have a COVID-19 safety plan in place that sets out how they’ll operate safely.
